Projects and Volunteer Oportunities:

The chapter's conservation projects and volunteer opportunities are
wide ranging, providing those with varying interests and skills a
chance to make a difference.

If your interest is kids, there are junior fishing days in different
areas of Plumas County.  The chapter also sponsors a fishing outing
for the disabled community, which is one of the most rewarding
experiences one will ever have.  The Trout in the Classroom program
has been implemented in many Plumas County classrooms.

If getting outdoors and getting your hands dirty is what motivates
you, join other volunteers on a habitat restoration or fencing
project.  These projects are typically undertaken with one of the
chapter's many resource partners.

There are also opportunities to really connect with trout while
helping rescue or relocate fish, or to assist with a stream survey.

This is just a sample of volunteer opportunities available through
the Feather River Chapter of Trout Unlimited.

Check back frequently as this information changes throughout the year.
